Wood-Destroying Insect Reports
If you are in the process of buying a home, some lenders require a wood-destroying insect report on file before they’ll approve your loan. This report includes an inspection of the house for any signs of wood-destroying insect activity, performed by a trained professional. Innovative Pest Solutions offers wood-destroying insect inspections and reports.
Reports are issued by the next business day, and are inspected by North Carolina WDIR Accredited Inspectors.
Real Estate Inspections
Our real estate inspections include a full home inspection. During this inspection, we’ll check the:
- House functions
- Doors and windows
A full-home inspection takes about two hours to complete and provides homebuyers with the information they need before finalizing the sale. If problems are found, you can request that they are fixed before closing on the property or that the price be adjusted. Similarly, if the home is sound, you’ll have the peace of mind knowing that you won’t encounter any serious problems after the purchase is complete.
Full-home inspection reports are issued the same day your inspection is completed.
Radon is a naturally-occurring gas that is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the US. It can seep into your house from the ground, and because it is odorless and tasteless, you won’t be aware of its presence.
Our radon testing service uses a continuous radon monitor for 48 hours that takes samples to see what levels of radon are present. After testing is complete, we’ll provide you with a report showing you if you have unsafe radon levels in your home.
We offer water testing services. We’ll take a sample of your water, then test it for a variety of materials that could be dangerous to your health. Upon the completion of the testing, you’ll receive a full report of the findings.
