Termites In A 'Full Brick Home'
November 29, 2010
Here is a typical finding for termites in a garage area. Note the large termite tube to the right of this built-in shelf on the rear wall of this garage. Damage found in the shelving, trim, and baseboard trim to the right of the shelves.
Notice the damage and dirt that the termites have caused to the bottom shelf.
Close up of the termite damage. You could put your finger through the bottom shelf. Not much left but the paint.
Termite tubes noted in the same house in the crawlspace. This house is full brick. I have had several customers not perform inspections because they assume their brick house is not susceptible to termite attack! Don’t forget to have your home inspected.
